Key Cards

The cards that move the market. Value bands below are rough orders of magnitude in NM raw condition — actual sold prices vary by demand cycles, season, and listing presentation. Always check sold-listing comps before bidding.

Bands ≠ prices.$ ≈ <$30, $$ ≈ $30–100, $$$ ≈ $100–300, $$$$ ≈ $300–800, $$$$$ ≈ $800+. These are raw NM ballparks; PSA 9–10 graded copies multiply meaningfully. See the Resources page for live price-check links.

Sealed product to watch

Sealed booster boxes and unopened starter decks consistently outperform singles on long-term appreciation. Notable sealed targets:

Sealed authenticity: Resealing exists. Check that the plastic shrink wrap has factory-style heat seams, no obvious folds or re-application bubbles, and that any factory tab is intact. If a seller offers "resealed for protection" — pass.
